Cacao Ceremony & Soundbath

Join us, as we traverse through the various gateways of the heart with the aid of the Cacao spirit, shamanic breathwork, and a sound bath. If you would like to come, please RSVP via email (see below) as space is limited.

We start with shamanic breathwork and meditative journeying to begin to welcome the many gifts of the great spirit of the cacao. Once we cleansed and revitalized ourselves with shamanic breathwork and this sacred brew of cacao, everyone will be able to lie down and receive the healing vibrations from a sound bath. The sound bath will include crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls, gongs and medicine songs providing a lush soundscape for deep meditative journeying and melodies to open the heart.

In this ceremony, you will:

• Connect with the spirit of Cacao and welcome in all of its many gifts
• Receive vibrational healing through sound baths and icaros (medicine songs)
• Engage in shamanic breathwork that focus on an area of the body & the benefits of working on this area of the body
• Stimulate the olfactory system, body and corresponding chakras with a meditation oil

Miguel has performed medicine music in over 100+ various shamanic ceremonies in the Yucatan and in the US. Versed in songs of healing and awakening through many languages, he transcends the language barrier through his passionate play-style and serenading guitar melodies. As a student of Truth, his music aims to spread love and awaken hearts, one melody at a time.

Ceremony Facilitator: Erika Buenaflor, Curandera, Spiritual Counselor/Coach

Erika blends her 20+ cumulative years of practicing as a curandera, mentoring with curanderx and shamans in the Maya Yucatecan jungle, and studying Mesoamerican Curanderismo at UCLA and UCR to provide you with a rich look into the fascinating world of Mesoamerican Curanderismo and Shamanism. She has written, Cleansing Rites of Curanderismo, Curanderismo Soul Retrieval, The Sacred Energies of the Sun and Moon, and Animal Medicine. As a modern-day curandera, she excels at translating and applying this sacred knowledge to help her clients realize and live their BLISS.
